SQZ RS is a straight ball joint rather than a conventional eye-style rod end. A threaded stud passes through the ball-joint housing, and a rubber dust seal protects the moving interface. The catalogue covers M5×0.8 through M22×1.5 thread sizes, with both left- and right-hand thread arrangements available.

Inspect the rubber seal whenever the linkage is serviced; a torn boot allows grit directly into a compact moving joint. Keep the tapered or threaded interfaces clean and do not hammer through the ball center.
SQ RS uses the alternate right-angle rod-end ball-joint layout; POS provides a conventional greasable male-thread rod end; NOS is a maintenance-free eye-type male-thread rod end.
