GK DO is more than a standard rod end: the housing includes a weldable base and locating pin while retaining a female threaded connection. A GE..ES or GE..ES 2RS radial spherical plain bearing sits in the body, and the housing includes a lubrication route. Catalogue bores run from 10 to 80 mm.

Typical Applications
Selection Guide
The weldment makes installation geometry critical. Confirm bore, bearing width and the base dimensions, then locate the centerline on the fabricated structure before welding. Heat input and distortion must be controlled so the bearing seat is not pulled out of shape.
Installation & Maintenance
Protect the bearing from welding current, spatter and excessive heat. Final grease access should be checked after surrounding plates are added, not just on the bare bracket.
