LN-11G combines a LIN bearing with a ready-to-mount pillow-block housing so the linear guide can bolt directly to the machine structure. The standard pillow block packages the polymer bearing and housing together, reducing the number of separate fits a machine builder must control during assembly.
Packaging the bearing in a block simplifies mounting, but it does not change the liner material. The family data gives 1.48 g/cm³ density and 0.05–0.15 dry friction against steel. Temperature guidance in the outline is -50 to +90 °C for continuous work and -50 to +120 °C for short exposure.

Where It Fits
Standard LN blocks are convenient for modular automation because the bearing axis and housing are supplied as one unit; the installer mainly controls the rail datum and bolt-down surface.
For LN-11G, corrosion resistance and lubricant-free travel can simplify machine housekeeping. The catalogue also notes that the LIN material can be cleaned with disinfecting solution, which is useful context for equipment where oil migration would be undesirable.
How to Select
With LN-11G, shaft centre height and base-hole positions are primary dimensions. Once the block fits the machine, check the installed LIN bearing and load data for the required shaft size.
After the geometry is identified, compare the real duty with the dry-running material limits. Record load, sliding speed, stroke, shaft finish and operating temperature in the RFQ so LN-11G is checked as a system rather than as a bore-size lookup.
Fitting & Inspection
Bolt the standard pillow block to a flat datum without using the housing to pull a misaligned shaft into position. Service consists of cleaning and checking clearance rather than adding grease.
This family does not depend on scheduled grease replenishment. Inspection should instead look for abnormal clearance, embedded abrasive particles, heat and uneven wear; those symptoms often point to shaft or alignment issues around the LN-11G installation.
