Stainless steel gearboxes are widely used in industrial transmission fields due to their high strength and corrosion resistance. However, in actual use, stainless steel gearboxes may still malfunction due to improper design, installation, lubrication or maintenance....
LIN-02RFL Long-Flange Plastic Linear Bearings
LIN-02RFL long flanged lin-02r family from the LIN plastic linear-bearing family. Designed for quiet, corrosion-resistant dry running; exact dimensions and load data remain model specific.
MOQ: 50 pcs. Minimum order value USD 1,500; mixed orders and trial quantities welcome.
LIN-02RFL extends the flanged bearing body for applications that need more axial support than a short flanged polymer unit. The extended flanged body increases support length, so this version is selected as much for carriage stability as for its dry-running material.
Longer support does not raise the material PV ceiling. The catalogue retains a maximum value of 0.4 N/mm²·m/s, so pressure and travel speed must be checked together. For thermal screening, keep steady duty within -50/+90 °C. The +120 °C upper figure belongs to brief exposure, not continuous operation.

Use Cases
Long-flange units are useful on taller carriages or slides exposed to pitch moments, provided the shaft support and mounting plate are stiff enough to make use of the added bearing length.
For LIN-02RFL, corrosion resistance and lubricant-free travel can simplify machine housekeeping. The catalogue also notes that the LIN material can be cleaned with disinfecting solution, which is useful context for equipment where oil migration would be undesirable.
Selection Priorities
For RFL, verify that the extended body fits the carriage depth and that the flange can seat flat. The longer support should solve a stiffness need, not create interference behind the plate.
After the geometry is identified, compare the real duty with the dry-running material limits. Record load, sliding speed, stroke, shaft finish and operating temperature in the RFQ so LIN-02RFL is checked as a system rather than as a bore-size lookup.
Installation Review
A long body magnifies coaxiality errors. Run the carriage through the complete stroke after tightening and correct alignment before the polymer develops a one-sided wear pattern.
This family does not depend on scheduled grease replenishment. Inspection should instead look for abnormal clearance, embedded abrasive particles, heat and uneven wear; those symptoms often point to shaft or alignment issues around the LIN-02RFL installation.
