GEG E / GEG ES 2RS is the heavy-duty branch of the serviceable radial spherical plain bearing range. Compared with the standard GE envelope, the GEG geometry provides a larger bearing package around a given bore in many sizes. The catalogue covers 6–120 mm bores and lists both open/serviceable and double-sealed versions.

A GEG bearing should be chosen from the actual housing geometry, not substituted for a GE bearing simply because the bore matches. Check D, B and C dimensions carefully, then review the load columns and permissible tilt.
Route lubricant to the bearing’s grooves and holes and keep the path open after assembly. On sealed versions, avoid sharp housing edges that can cut a seal during insertion.
