GE ET 2RS combines a PTFE-fabric sliding layer with seals on both sides of the outer ring. The construction is maintenance-free and covers 15–120 mm bores in the supplied catalogue. The inner spherical surface is chromium plated and the outer ring is phosphate treated.

The 2RS seals are useful where the bearing is exposed, but they do not remove the need to check housing fit and articulation space. Select from shaft diameter and envelope dimensions, then compare dynamic/static ratings.
Do not plan routine relubrication for this maintenance-free PTFE-fabric series. Protect the seals from cutting during installation and keep the bearing centered so the seal lips are not dragged against a shoulder.
