The SCS15 shaft collar targets the 15 mm shaft diameter — a globally recognised standard found in pneumatic cylinder rods, linear guide shafts, optical positioning stages, and precision motion assemblies. As the international default bore for smooth-rod linear bearing systems, the 15 mm shaft is arguably the most globally interchangeable motion component dimension below 20 mm. The SCS15 is the equally universal collar solution for it.
Sharing the 35 mm OD and 12 mm face width with the SCS14 and SCS16, the SCS15 allows system designers to use a single housing pocket across the entire 14–16 mm shaft size band. The M5 clamping screw provides robust grip, and the optional 5 mm keyway (DIN 6885A) is available for applications where rotational locking is also required.

Fitting SCS15 collars at the travel limits of the rod converts a free-sliding bearing into a positionally defined linear module — used in 3D printer bed assemblies, laser cutter Y-axes, and dispensing robot Z-axes.
External pneumatic cylinders with 15 mm piston rods use the SCS15 as an adjustable mechanical stroke limiter.
