The SCS13 shaft collar addresses a gap that regularly trips up engineers working with imported European machinery: the 13 mm shaft diameter. A significant body of older European industrial equipment — particularly from German and Italian manufacturers — was built around 13 mm shafts derived from inch-based legacy designs (½ inch ≈ 12.7 mm, rounded up). Sourcing a correctly sized collar for maintenance and retrofit work on these machines has historically required custom machining.
The SCS13 eliminates that bottleneck. It shares the identical 30 mm OD, 10 mm face width, and M4 clamping screw as the SCS10 and SCS12, so its mounting pocket geometry fits existing housing designs without any rework. Only the bore is unique.

Not recommended. Boring out a split-clamp collar after manufacture changes the slit geometry and may create asymmetric wall thickness compromising clamping force distribution. EP's SCS13 is machined with correct dimensions from the outset.
Standard delivery is without keyway. The 4 mm keyway is machined to order — specify on your purchase order or attach your technical drawing.
