Hydraulic Pumps
Aftermarket gear pump replacements for agricultural, material-handling and forestry hydraulic circuits. Covering the most widely serviced equipment references worldwide.
Gear pump replacements for the equipment you service
Hydraulic gear pumps are the heart of tractor lift circuits, forklift mast systems, log splitter two-stage circuits and combine harvester header drives. When a pump wears, cavitates or fails, the right replacement means matching displacement, shaft geometry, rotation and port arrangement — not just a part number.
The range here covers aftermarket replacements across the most common equipment families, organised by application. Each section lists the available configurations with their key parameters so you can cross-reference against the pump you are replacing. For detailed specifications, visit the tractor hydraulic pumps or forklift hydraulic pumps pages directly.

A part number or model reference is a useful starting point, but it does not guarantee a direct interchange. Before ordering, confirm each of the following against the pump being replaced.
Displacement (ml/rev)
Match the volumetric displacement precisely. A different displacement changes the flow rate at a given drive speed and may exceed relief valve or line pressure ratings.
Shaft rotation
Clockwise and anticlockwise pumps are not interchangeable. Confirm the viewing direction used to define rotation before ordering.
Mounting face & shaft
Compare flange diameter, bolt-hole pattern and drive-shaft dimensions. Two pumps with the same displacement may have incompatible mounting interfaces.
Port size & thread
Inlet and outlet port sizes — metric, UNF or BSP — must match the existing hose fittings or adaptors to avoid restricted flow or leaks.
Pressure rating
Do not install a pump rated below the system relief setting. For tandem units, each section carries its own rating — check both independently.
Aftermarket replacements — identification and fit
Aftermarket gear pumps are manufactured to the same functional parameters as the original equipment parts they replace: the same displacement, the same operating pressure range, the same shaft and port geometry. They are not manufactured by the original equipment brands, and the brand names and part numbers shown across this site are used solely for cross-reference and identification purposes. If you require a genuine OEM part, contact the original manufacturer directly.
For a replacement that meets the same performance specification at a competitive price, the configurations listed here cover the most widely serviced references in agricultural and material-handling equipment.

From enquiry to delivery
Most replacement pump orders follow a straightforward path from first contact to dispatch. Samples are available for new accounts on selected configurations.
Identify the pump
Use the tables on each category page to find your reference, or send photographs and measurements for a cross-reference check.
Request a quotation
Send the reference, quantity and delivery destination. Mixed-model orders are welcome. The typical combined minimum for a mixed shipment is approximately USD 1,500.
Confirm and produce
Standard configurations: 10–25 working days. Customised assemblies: 20–45 working days. Lead time is confirmed in the quotation.
Ship and deliver
EXW, FOB, CIF and DAP terms are normally available. Final Incoterm and freight arrangements are agreed at quotation stage.
Technical notes on gear pump selection
Single-section vs. tandem configurations
A single-section gear pump serves one hydraulic circuit — typically a lift or steering circuit in smaller equipment. A tandem (two-section) pump stacks two gear sets in one body, each feeding a separate circuit from the same drive shaft. Tandem units are common on larger tractors where both the steering and lift circuits require separate, independent oil supplies. The Deutz 18+12 cc and 19+13 cc tandem units and the John Deere RE73947 30+14 cc two-section pump are typical examples. For tandem units, displacement, pressure rating and port arrangement must be confirmed for both sections independently.
Rotation direction and why it matters
Gear pump rotation is fixed by the internal gear profile. A clockwise pump driven anticlockwise will attempt to draw fluid from the wrong port and deliver no useful pressure — or reverse the pressure differential and damage seals. Always confirm the rotation direction as viewed from the drive end before fitting a replacement. The convention used to define clockwise varies by manufacturer, so check the specification sheet rather than relying on a visual inspection of the existing pump alone.
Priming and commissioning
Gear pumps must be primed before the first run to avoid dry-start damage. Fill the pump body with clean hydraulic oil through the inlet port before installation. After fitting, run the system at low load for a short period while checking for leaks, abnormal noise, slow hydraulic response and oil temperature rise. These symptoms may indicate an installation issue, a circuit fault, or a mismatch between the pump and the system — address them before returning the equipment to full duty.
