Hydraulic Pump Range
Forklift Hydraulic
Gear Pumps
Working pumps for lift, tilt and auxiliary circuits — 31.5 to 36 ml/rev, up to 25 MPa, 3000 rpm. Six hydraulic working models and one fuel-feed pump, with clockwise and counterclockwise variants available.
Application
Hydraulic duty on the forklift
The working pump draws from the hydraulic reservoir and delivers pressurised flow to the lift cylinder, tilt cylinders, and any auxiliary circuits controlled by the valve stack. Displacement, pressure rating, and rotation hand together determine whether a replacement pump will perform correctly and physically fit.
Rotation hand
Most listed working pumps are counterclockwise. CBHZA-F36-AF is the clockwise variant — always verify before ordering a replacement.
Pressure & duty
Compare the system relief pressure and continuous load demand against the model's rated maximum. A 24.5 MPa pump is not automatically interchangeable with a 25 MPa unit.
Mechanical interface
Shaft diameter, drive spline, flange pattern, and port positions must be verified against the original assembly — displacement alone is not sufficient for a match.
Hydraulic circuit
Fluid cleanliness, oil viscosity, and reservoir capacity all affect pump life. Check for internal leakage and clean the system before fitting a replacement.
Working principle
How a forklift gear pump works
A gear pump converts mechanical rotation into hydraulic flow through the meshing action of two precision-ground gears. The process follows three phases in every revolution.
Suction
As the gears unmesh on the inlet side, expanding volume draws hydraulic oil from the reservoir through the suction line.
Pressurisation
Oil is trapped in the gear teeth and carried around the housing to the outlet side, where meshing gears force it into the pressure circuit.
Delivery
Pressurised flow serves the lift and tilt cylinders or auxiliary services as directed by the control valve block; oil returns to the tank through the return circuit.

Available models & specifications
Six hydraulic working pumps cover the 31.5–36 ml/rev range at 24.5–25 MPa. The YH30H-05000 is a separate fuel-feed pump — lower pressure, smaller displacement — and is not a substitute for a hydraulic lifting pump.

Important distinction
Hydraulic working pumps vs fuel-feed pump
The six working pumps (31.5–36 ml/rev, 24.5–25 MPa) are designed for the high-pressure hydraulic circuit. YH30H-05000 (14 ml/rev, 2.0 MPa) transfers diesel or petrol in the fuel system. Using a fuel-feed pump in a hydraulic circuit will result in immediate failure. Confirm which circuit requires service before selecting a model.
Selection guide
Determining rotation hand
Fitting a pump with the wrong rotation will not build pressure and can damage the gear set within minutes. Always verify from the drive-end view using the machine drawing or the original pump label — do not assume from the forklift brand alone.
Counterclockwise (CCW)
- CBHZG-F34-AL13L — 34 ml/rev
- CBFZ-F32ALK1X — 32 ml/rev
- CPC30.5.18 — 32 ml/rev
- SGP1A36A1H1-L534D — 35.7 ml/rev
- CBHZ-F31.5-ALH6L — 31.5 ml/rev
Clockwise (CW)
- CBHZA-F36-AF — 36 ml/rev
Viewed from the drive end (shaft side). If the original pump is unmarked, check the machine's hydraulic schematic or send drive-end photographs for confirmation.
OEM replacement
Matching an OEM replacement
Many forklift brands use pumps from the CBHZG, CBFZ, CPC, and SGP families. To confirm a cross-reference, share the following with our sales team.
Original reference
The part number from the nameplate, service manual, or OEM parts catalogue.
Drive-end photo
A photograph of the shaft end showing the shaft diameter, spline or key detail, and flange.
Port layout
Inlet and outlet positions, thread standards (BSP/NPT/SAE) and sizes.
Duty parameters
System relief pressure, required flow at working speed, and continuous operating temperature.
Quantity
Number of units — sample, initial order, or regular call-off quantity — for accurate lead-time and pricing.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do I identify clockwise versus counterclockwise rotation?
View the pump from the drive end — the end where the shaft protrudes — and observe which way the shaft turns during operation. Clockwise means the shaft turns to the right; counterclockwise means it turns to the left, from that same viewpoint.
Never determine rotation from the general application alone. Some forklift models have used both rotations in different production years. Use the machine drawing, the pump nameplate, or drive-end photographs to confirm.
Can a 24.5 MPa pump directly replace a 25 MPa pump?
Not automatically. The SGP1A36A1H1-L534D is rated at 24.5 MPa; all other working pumps in this range are rated at 25 MPa. If the system relief is set above 24.5 MPa, the SGP1A pump would be operating beyond its continuous rating.
Compare the actual system relief setting, peak transient loads, and thermal conditions before treating the two ratings as interchangeable. Physical interfaces (shaft, flange, ports) must also be verified separately.
Two models both show 32 ml/rev. Can they replace each other?
Displacement matching alone is not sufficient. CBFZ-F32ALK1X and CPC30.5.18 both show 32 ml/rev and 25 MPa, but their shaft dimensions, flange patterns, and port positions differ. A physical comparison of the drive end, mounting face, and port layout is required before substituting one for the other.
What is the difference between a hydraulic working pump and the YH30H-05000?
The six hydraulic working pumps (31.5–36 ml/rev, 24.5–25 MPa) drive the lift and tilt cylinders in the hydraulic circuit. They are designed for hydraulic oil under high working pressure.
YH30H-05000 is a fuel-feed pump: 14 ml/rev, rated at 2.0 MPa, for transferring diesel or petrol in the fuel system. It cannot be used in the hydraulic lifting circuit and is not listed alongside the working pumps because it serves a completely different function.
What information should I include in a replacement quotation request?
Include the forklift make and model year, the original pump reference from the nameplate or service manual, rotation hand, shaft and flange measurements or photographs of the drive end, port thread standards and positions, the system working pressure, and the number of units required.
The more detail provided upfront, the faster a confirmed cross-reference and price can be returned. Send enquiries to the sales team through the contact page.
Do these pumps support customised shaft or port configurations?
Custom configurations — modified shaft diameter, different flange pattern, or alternative port positions and thread standards — can be discussed depending on production volume and lead time. Enquire with the original pump reference and the required modification details.
