Stainless steel gearboxes are widely used in industrial transmission fields due to their high strength and corrosion resistance. However, in actual use, stainless steel gearboxes may still malfunction due to improper design, installation, lubrication or maintenance....

LMF/KC / LMEF/KC Extended Flanged Linear Bearings
LMFC/LMKC and LMEFC/LMEKC are long flanged linear-bearing assemblies intended for higher support stiffness. The catalogue describes a long design with a double-bearing arrangement in metric and European dimensional families.
MOQ flexible. Minimum order value USD 1,500; mixed orders and trial quantities welcome.
When a flange bearing must carry a taller carriage or resist more overturning tendency, the extended C-series body gives the designer more axial bearing support without requiring two independently aligned housings. The result is a single mounting interface with a longer internal support envelope.
The catalogue groups LMFC/LMKC as the metric long-flange family and LMEFC/LMEKC as the European long-flange family. Round and square flange options are retained, while the long body is built around a double-bearing concept for maximum support and stability within this product group.

Technical Specifications
| Series | Body Standard | Flange Form | Construction | Primary Benefit | Selection Data |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LMFC...UU | LM metric | Round | Extended / double-bearing | Longer support span | Bore, D/L, PCD, C/Co, weight |
| LMKC...UU | LM metric | Square | Extended / double-bearing | High carriage stability | Bore, square flange, hole pitch, C/Co |

| LMEKC...UU | LME European | Square | Extended / double-bearing | European high-support flange | European body and hole pitch |
Catalogue note: The outline identifies these families as long/double-bearing assemblies but does not collapse their model dimensions into one range. Use the exact catalogue row for bore, flange and load data.
Typical Applications
Extended flanged bearings suit vertical slides, long tool plates, automation arms, inspection rigs and carriage structures where a standard flange leaves too little separation between load paths. They can simplify alignment because the two internal bearing sections share one manufactured housing.
The extra length needs space. Check adjacent motors, end supports and travel limits so the longer housing does not reduce usable stroke or interfere with cable routing.
Selection Guide
Choose metric LMFC/LMKC or European LMEFC/LMEKC from the existing housing standard, then select round or square flange geometry. Compare the body length with carriage thickness and check the catalogued load ratings at the required shaft size.
For replacement projects, measure the full flange body rather than only the front plate. Long and standard flanged bearings may share a familiar flange outline but differ substantially behind the mounting face.
Installation & Maintenance
Mount the flange square to the shaft axis and avoid twisting the long body with uneven bolt torque. After assembly, traverse the carriage through the full stroke and feel for any change in resistance.
Inspection should focus on uneven wear between the two internal bearing sections. A difference often points to carriage distortion or shaft-support misalignment.
