CBNA-13/3.0 | 13/3.0 ml/rev hydraulic specification

2.5/20 MPa  •  3600 rpm  •  Clockwise rotation

CBNA-13/3.0 is a log splitter hydraulic pump offered by Ever Power Netherlands Branch. Nominal displacement is 13/3.0 ml/rev, the listed pressure is 2.5/20 MPa, and the speed reference is 3600 rpm.

Product overview & application

In a typical two-stage log splitter circuit, the larger displacement assists cylinder travel at lower pressure. When load rises, the circuit shifts toward the smaller displacement and higher force. The control and unloading arrangement must be matched to the actual machine.

A mid-range 13/3.0 ml/rev option within the CBNA family, with a 2.5/20 MPa pressure pair. It is worth comparing against CBNA-15/3.0 where fast-stroke flow is more important.

Two-stage flow

Displacement figures describe two pump sections; check how the machine unloads or combines them.

Pressure pair

Where two pressures are shown, read them as stage-specific limits, not a single universal operating pressure.

Port matching

Thread form, actual opening diameter and suction supply need to match the original layout.

How a two-stage splitting circuit works

The 3.0 ml/rev stage matches CBNA-15/3.0, but the 13 ml/rev stage is different. Confirm the unloading setting and available prime-mover power.

Fast travel

Higher flow moves the splitting cylinder toward the log at lighter load.

Build force

At higher resistance, the pressure and stage transition are managed by the hydraulic circuit.

Return stroke

Check flow, valve centre condition and reservoir supply for repeatable operation.

Model range & comparison

Compare nearby pump references by actual hydraulic figures first. Connection geometry and pump drive arrangement still need to be matched independently.

Flow and pressure must be evaluated with the machine's pump drive, circuit relief setting and duty cycle. The listed maximum is not a blanket continuous-duty guarantee.

Interfaces, installation & maintenance

The 13/3.0 ml/rev arrangement has to suit cylinder volume, desired stroke time and engine or motor power. The 2.5/20 MPa pressure entry must be considered together with the system relief and unloading setup. A port match on its own is not enough.

When replacing a splitter pump, record suction opening dimensions, discharge thread, port centre positions, shaft type, pump rotation and the way the existing circuit changes from high flow to high force.

Suction and fittings

Confirm the suction diameter and discharge thread shown above. Avoid undersized suction lines, air leaks and incompatible NPT/G fittings.

Valve and relief settings

Review the changeover/unloading circuit and machine relief pressure before operating at the stated stage limits.

Initial run

Ensure adequate reservoir supply, verify clockwise rotation as specified, bleed where instructed and observe cylinder extension/retraction without overloading.

OEM cross-reference & replacement checks

Use the original pump marking for identification, then compare the shaft, flange, port layout, rotation and hydraulic duty. OEM reference numbers help start a cross-check; they do not by themselves establish one-to-one interchangeability.

Frequently asked questions

How does a two-stage log splitter pump differ from a single pump?

A two-stage hydraulic arrangement can provide a higher travel flow at low resistance and a lower flow when the circuit needs greater pressure. Actual stage switching depends on the machine's unloading/control system.

Are the two pressure values interchangeable?

No. For this model the pressure entry is 2.5/20 MPa. Each stage and the circuit relief settings must be assessed separately.

What fittings should I check?

Match the inlet 25.4 mm diameter and outlet NPT 1/2 as well as thread type, port spacing and hydraulic hose connections.

Can I order a sample or only one pump?

A 1–2-piece order may be quoted at an adjusted unit price. New customers may request 1–5 samples when feasible; conditions depend on the selected product.

Ordering, samples & delivery

Minimum order quantity (MOQ) is assessed by pump type, specification and total order value. Where production conditions allow, orders of just 1–2 units can be quoted, although the unit price will usually be higher than for a batch order.

Samples and small lots

New customers may request 1–5 samples when suitable. Availability and sample pricing are confirmed for the selected model.

Mixed-model orders

Different hydraulic pump models may be combined in one order; the target combined order value is approximately USD 1,500.

Production schedule

Standard parts: 10–25 working days. Customized assemblies: 20–45 working days. Project equipment: 45–120 working days.

Trade terms: EXW, FOB, CIF and DAP are normally available. FCA, CFR, CPT, CIP and DDP can be discussed according to the destination and shipment requirements. The agreed lead time and Incoterm will be stated in the formal quotation.
