The WPKS Single Stage Cast Iron Worm Reducer is a type of worm gearbox with a compact design, mainly used for deceleration transmission in various mechanical equipment industries such as plastics, metallurgy, beverage, mining, lifting and transportation, chemical construction, etc. The gearbox is composed of transmission parts, worm gear, shaft, bearing, box, and accessories, and can be divided into three essential structural parts: box, worm gear, and worm, approach, and shaft combination.

Working Conditions of Cast Iron Worm Gearbox
- The worm speed of the worm gear reducer shall not exceed 1500r/min.
- The working environment temperature is -40 ?? – +40 ??. When the working environment temperature is lower than 0 ??, the lubricating oil is heated to above 0 ?? before starting. Cooling measures are taken when the working environment temperature exceeds 40 ??.
- The inlet shaft of the worm gear reducer can rotate forward and backward.
Precautions:
- The worm gear shaft cannot be used as an input shaft.
- The machine is not refueled when leaving the factory. It can only be operated after adding enough machine oil.
- The matching motor (i.e., power) shall not exceed the value specified on the nameplate.
- If the user wants to change the direction of the shaft, he can remove the two end covers of the lower shaft, take out the worm shaft and adjust it by 180. Load it. The second shaft can be driven slowly to make it mesh.
