Typical Applications
Flanged bushings are useful on gantries, small machine slides, dispensing equipment, inspection axes and fixtures where the carriage face is accessible for bolts. The flange also makes field replacement more straightforward because axial retention is built into the component.

Installation & Maintenance
Bolt the flange to a flat, clean face and tighten evenly. Distortion from an uneven plate can change internal clearance. The shaft should pass freely through the installed bearing without a forced bend.
Inspect mounting bolts and seals during planned maintenance. Fretting around the flange is a sign that the bearing is moving relative to the carriage or the mounting face is not sufficiently rigid.
